In this new and exciting class, students will be given a beautifully bound watercolor journal and a mini kit of supplies. Each class students will be given a prompt to complete using a new technique each week. This is a mixed media class with an emphasis on journaling and art as a therapy. All classes are process based, with an emphasis on engaging materials and techniques. Whether painting, collaging, stitching, drawing, creating students will use their hands and their hearts to create art that is unique and meaningful to them.

Projected Timeline:
Week 1 - Self portraits / gelli prints & transparency tracing
Week 2 - Day in the life / watercolors & stamping
Week 3 - Currently: reading, watching, listening to, playing, loving etc. / sewing & fabric scraps
Week 4 - My Room: map or fave items / oil pastels & watercolors
Week 5 - Birth year / painted circles, pastels, paint, colored pencils
Week 6 - Travel bucket list / pie chart with patterned & painted papers
Week 7 - Selfie photo / embellished & stitched library card pocket & facts about you right now
Week 8 - Your choice / anything goes & catch up from previous weeks
